Eid 2011

My family and I really had no special plans for the 3 days Eid holidays and on the first day, we just went to Dubai Mall to have dinner and just stroll around.
To start off the night, we had dinner at Texas Roadhouse! It was our 2nd time and it just gets better and better! The ambiance of course is very much like those pubs you see in movies, and the music just makes me wanna dance! Haha :)) But anyway, they just never fail to satisfy my steak cravings πŸ™‚

The family wanted to eat outside of Texas Roadhouse as you’ll have a beautiful view of a part of Downtown Dubai, especially the World’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa! So below are pictures of us with the Burj Khalifa πŸ™‚

After taking random pictures outside of the mall, we watched the Dancing Fountain which actually danced to Michael Jackson’s Thriller. I enjoyed it too much and was Awed that I never even bothered to take a video 😦 But maybe next time I can show you guys! πŸ™‚
After the fountain show, we went again inside the mall and it was just horrifying! The number of people that time was just intolerable 😦 But anyway, we went inside to see Dubai Mall’s massive aquarium and underwater zoo! πŸ™‚

The blue background-ed pictures were in the Aquarium and those that are not were in the zoo!
I was really glad we went to see this Aquarium and Underwater Zoo because it was something unusual that we did just for Eid. And I felt like a kid very much anxious with the penguins (no photo – sorry) and Finding Nemo casts! Haha.
Well anyway, here’s my outfit last night! πŸ˜€
Top from New Look, Skirt from Forever 21, Flats from Tammy
Bonett from Forever 21, Bow from Splash

To all my friends celebrating Eid Al Adha, Eid Mubarak! πŸ™‚
