REVIEW: Isadora Cosmetics

It was weeks ago when I received a bag full of goodies from Isadora Cosmetics that made my day! It’s not the first time I have come across Isadora but I have to admit, I have never tried any of their products. So in this bag I was able to get a complete set, and I am just so excited to share with you all my love for this brand and their products!

About IsaDora

IsaDora is a brand known for its premium quality yet affordable make-up products. The brand was launched in 1983 in Sweden, and has rapidly become one of the most successful and fastest growing cosmetics brands internationally. With their products being fragrance free and clinically tested (not animal tested), IsaDora is also suitable for those with sensitive eyes and sensitive skin, perfect for makeup lovers like me.

  • Nude Sensation Fluid Foundation in 16 Nude Almond

I like my foundation liquid as I find it light and easy to blend, and this is why I have fallen in love with this product. It’s definitely my skin tone and its nude finish gives it a natural and no make up feel.

  • Perfect Brow Duo Compact Powder in Brown Duo

Perfect eye brows are my thing and so it’s very critical for me to give my honest opinion on this one. And my final verdict, it is amazing. Unlike any other brow compact powders, this is light and natural, and who wouldn’t love natural looking brows? But if you’re into dramatic and intense brows, just wet your applicator and you’ll get amazing results.

  • Eye Focus Single Shadow in Dusty Rose

This shadow is available in 8 shades with pearl and matte variants. For a more subtle and light look, this shadow is perfect. With its easy application, and being light weight when applied, this, like all the other eye products from IsaDora, is suitable for sensitive eyes and even contact lens wearers.

  • Light & Shade Eye Shadow in Sooty Grey

What I love about this duo eye shadow palette is that it is highly pigmented. It’s coordinated shades is very easy to apply and blend and long lasting as well. It also comes with a double applicator, the brush with natural hair and sponge.

  • Waterproof Smokey Eyeliner in Black

To a different approach on achieving the smokey eye look, this waterproof and smudge-proof liner is perfect. With it’s creamy, rich texture, and the built-in smudger, the liner is enough to achieve smokey eyes even without your usual shadow palettes.

  • Perfect Contour Kohl (Waterproof)

This rich colour contour kajal has a glide-on texture and so easy to apply on the water line. It does not irritate the eyes and so it is harmless as it is fragrance free and ophthalmologically tested.

  • Mascara Flashy Curl in Brown

I like mascaras which curls my lashes without having to use curlers. And this somehow makes the cut. Not only does it curl, but it gives volume as well.

  •  Moisturizing Lip Gloss (with Jojoba Oil) in Red Carpet

I am honestly not a fan of lip glosses but there’s no harm in trying and what can I say, this did not disappoint. Also with it’s jojoba oil, shea butter, vitamin c and f formula, it naturally nourishes and moisturizes dry and chapped lips. Also, unlike all lip gloss, I like how this particular lip gloss gives colour.

Products used are all the above mentioned products.
