PERSONAL: 10 Things to Accept Before Turning 28

Life is fast.
[LITERALLY] this may sound cliche, and I still have yet to realize it myself, but it’s so true. If you don’t take initiative of this in a decent amount of time life WILL smack you in the face when you least expect it. It still feels like yesterday being 7 years old, obsessed with Harry Potter (not much has changed there) and not having a care in the world. Responsibilities? What are those?

You will learn who your friends are whether you appreciate the timing or not.
Life doesn’t go on your time, everything happens whether you’re wanting it to or not. People reach different points in their lives at different times; some may go down different paths. Sooner or later you will be able to recognize those that are mere acquaintances and those that are true friends. Get over the whole “keep your friends close, and keep your enemies closer”–it’s seriously not worth your time. It will lead to more struggle than peace.

Someone like you

Do you think there is the possibility of you & I? In this lifetime, is that too much to hope for? There is something so delicate about this time, so fragile. And if nothing ever comes of it, at least I have known this feeling, this wonderful sense of optimism. It is something I can always keep close to me-to draw from my darkest hour like a ray of unspent sunshine. No matter what happens next, I will always be glad to know there is someone like you in the world.

THINKING of my family’s next travel destination. It’s something we’d like to do at least once a year, and we’ll be doing it on October, which most countries have the best weather! 

FEELING excited about the many things I have in mind to keep my blog and vlog active! 

WANTING another beach getaway! Preferably it involves a 2 hour roadtrip which makes it more fun, or, even somewhere far and new.

You deserve someone who loves you with every single beat of his heart, someone who thinks about you constantly, someone who spends every minute of every day just wondering what you’re doing, where you are, who you’re with, and if you’re OK. You need someone who can help you reach your dreams and protect you from your fears. You need someone who will treat you with respect, love every part of you, especially your flaws. You should be with someone who could make you happy, really happy, dancing on air happy.

A woman like you who is strong and independent; who knows her worth and won’t let anyone, not even him, to define her in any way.

A woman who will never settle, because she knows exactly what she wants and how to get it.

A woman who is confident and can do just about anything she puts her heart into.

A woman who have yet to find that special someone and doesn’t fret about it because she’s too focused on being the best version of herself, and believes that everything that’s meant to be will be. 

The kind of strong woman who is not afraid to show her weaknesses regardless of how independent she is; who lets her guard down because she trusts him enough to bare her soul to him and let him know that he is one of the most important person in her life.

A fiercely intelligent woman who has a certain kind of wisdom gained from her own experiences; from a plethora of mistakes and a life full of lessons.

A woman with the kindest heart whose compassion is an essential part of her life and finds joy in it. 

And lastly, because you’re the woman who also prayed for a man like him; and the two of you waited patiently and gracefully for God’s perfect timing and you know that once the time is right, nothing will ever go wrong.
