TRAVEL: Anawangin Cove, Zambales
The first of 2 beach getaways in my 2 weeks of vacation in the Philippines! This was the first ever for us – Palaspas cousins, to get away with no adult supervision and hours away from the city.
It was one hell of a 3hr road trip to Zambales with occasional local wet market stopovers along Subic to buy fruits to add to our menu. Thanks to the ever trustworthy app Waze, we had no time wasted on small town traffic and we got to our destination without ever getting lost!
As we reached Pampanga, the views and sceneries would give you the hint that you’re already away from the city!

You know how they say that Maldives is paradise? Well, I got to see it myself, together with my family and more than anything, we agree 100%.
