BEAUTY: Fiery Red

Happy 1st of July everyone!

Wow! I can’t believe how the first half of the year flew by so fast.. can you? It wasn’t long ago but, makes me think of the time when red lipstick was my thing. I guess I grew out of it that I now only wear nude and pink tones for a more sophisticated look. Therefore on this makeup look, I decided to look back and have another go with that fiery red lip.

BEAUTY: Eyebrow Routine/Tutorial (+Video)

Hey everyone! Finally! Sharing with you ladies my eyebrow routine in a video, which is also a tutorial of some kind (thanks to this blog post LOL)

Please do bear with me as this is my first ever video that I willingly shared to the public. All for the blog of course! And since I’ve been getting a lot of requests (even from way back) on how I do my brows. So check it out and do share some love by liking and subscribing!

What I did:

First, take a spoolie to brush and keep brow hair in place.

Then I take my eyebrow pencil to draw an outline of my brows.

With the eyebrow brush, I take some of the powder product of the Brow Zings and fill in my brows.

I take again my spoolie to brush off harsh lines to make it more natural.

To set brows, I use the Benefit Gimme Brows brush-on gel – my current favourite brow product!

For finishing touches and clean and neat brows, I use a brow enhancer pencil from Sephora. This is also mainly to highlight the brow bone area.

Products Used:

  • Sephora Eyebrow Retractable Pencil in 04 Midnight Brown
  • Morphe eyebrow brush from the 18 pcs Vegan brush set
  • Benefit Cosmetics Brow Zings in Dark (powder part)
  • Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brows in Medium/Deep
  • Sephora Brow Enhancer in Beige Shimmer

It seems easy, and it is. I’m sure some of you might even do it better than I do but since this is highly requested, here you go!

You may say it’s a talent, but it does take a lot of frustrating, uneven brows to perfect them. So I say, practice does make perfect. Also ladies, do keep this in mind, your eyebrows aren’t twins, they’re sisters. So if they’re uneven, it’s fine.. just don’t make them weirdly uneven 😉 Until my next blog post! A new outfit post for sure!
